Terms

These terms apply when you buy a service from Pen of Wonder Marketing, Writing, Publishing or Dev, or anything else from Pen of Wonder that isn’t research. Pen of Wonder is a trading name of Pen of Wonder Consults, a registered business name in Nigeria (CAC Business Name No. 7809965). Research work has its own terms. Please read these before you pay. If anything here is unclear, ask us first.

The service

Each piece of work is described in a written quote: what we’ll do, what it costs, when you’ll have it, how payment is split, and how many rounds of revisions are included. The quote and these terms together make up our agreement. A quote is valid for the period it states.

All work follows the Academic Integrity Policy, which forms part of these terms. We don’t write or edit academic or assessed work, and we will turn down, or stop, any work that would break the policy.

Payment

Payment details and the payment schedule come with your quote. Work starts when the first payment named in the quote has been received.

Ad spend is separate. Money spent on advertising is paid to the ad platforms (such as Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok or X) and is not part of our fee, unless your quote says otherwise.

Revisions

The quote says how many rounds of revisions are included and how long you have to ask for them. Changes that go beyond the original quote, such as a new document or a change of direction, are quoted separately.

Your responsibilities

• You give us accurate information about yourself, your business and what you’re selling.
• You confirm you have the right to share the material you send us, and to use any logos, photos or text you ask us to include.
• You are responsible for the claims your business makes, including in ads we run for you, and for following the rules of the platforms and any law that applies to your business.

Results

We do the work as well as we can, but no one can guarantee a particular number of leads or sales, a job offer, a grant, a book deal or any other outcome that depends on other people’s decisions. Payment is for the work done, not for an outcome. Any figure we show on our sites is a real past result, never a promise.

Confidentiality

We keep your documents, data and correspondence confidential. We don’t share them, and we don’t name you or use your work as a case study or sample without your written permission.

Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel at any time. You pay for the work done up to the point you cancel; if your payments so far come to more than that, we refund the difference. Money already spent on ads can’t be refunded by us.

Liability

Our total liability for any claim connected with a piece of work is limited to the amount you paid us for that work.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If you are a consumer living in the UK, nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under UK consumer law.
